If parents are attuned to censoring books that have objectionable content in them they should be able to have a choice of whether or not their children should be objected to reading such material.If a "classic" is being read and it has explicable content than a parent should chose whether or not they want there child to take part in the activity.
A response to topic #4 (below)
If teachers Could send out a notice giving the title and a brief summary of the book that they are going to read in class that gave information of the content, than that would be great. Parents would have the option to let their kid read the book with the class or not. It the parent chooses for him or her to not read the book than an other assignment should be assigned.
